Friday was time to take my Step-Son's back home
or 3/4 of the way to Ararat Victoria.
Day 1 - Dubbo to Echuca 675kms - 8 hours.
The road was LONG and FLAT most of the way.
There was lots of music and singing.
My car clocked over 125,000 km on the speedo
Please Note: Hubby took photo while I drove
We arrived at the Motel with this high temperature
So we all hit the pool
After a quick swim to cool off, it was time for some relaxation for me
Day 2 - Echuca to Ararat then back to Narrandera 780km 10 hours
We called into the Bendigo Harley Shop
(forgot about the Quilt Shops)
This bike was small enough for me to ride if I had my licence.
Bendigo has trams in the middle of the road
Beautiful Buildings, wish we had time to have a look around
Rochester Catholic Convent
Rochester Catholic Church
All beautiful BIG buildings
Finally arrived in Narrandera so off to the Pub for Dinner and a well deserved drink
Day 3 - Narrandera back to Dubbo 395km - 4 1/2 hours
2 1/2 Days - 1850kms
So nice to be home and to have another week off work by myself

Hey Fiona, I grew up in Bendigo, I lived there until we got married. Its a nice city but I'd never live there again, I love Tassie too much.
Road trips are lots of fun.
Oh it's too hot to be travelling so far, but glad you are safely back home. Bendigo does look worth a return visit.
