I am home on holidays for another week so I am putting my time to good use in the sewing room
This is my first attempt of an Easy Jelly Roll Quilt
The colours haven't mixed up as well as I wanted but I like the idea. Thanks to Bec for the fabrics.
I also whipped up these Mug Bags before meeting friends for lunch
The stitchery says "Friendship begins with a Cup Full of Kind-Ness"
I was going to try and make for Xmas gifts but knew I couldn't get them finished so make them on holidays. Got some more to make tomorrow.

Looks like you're making the most of your holiday. I've seen lots of the jelly roll quilts but haven't got around to trying it myself yet. Great gift ideas too with the mug bags
imho, your jelly roll quilt is quite spunky/cute. If, you wanted to add something...I could also see one of those large machine appliques in one corner. But, it's cute just the way it is. =)
I'm a bit curious. How are mug bags used? I'm seeing a mug full of hot chocolate spilling inside the beautiful fabric wrap. =)
