Shhhhhhhhh

This is the post that I can't tell you about.....

My Secret Santa Christmas Swap is on it's way overseas but I didn't have time to take any photos of the pretty little parcels like I've seen on other blogs.


I've also been very busy moving this weekend. We picked up the keys to our new house on Friday so we started moving over the weekend. I'm exhausted.... We should be all moved in next weekend.


Then I still have one more swap to get finished and sent.

Early Christmas Presents for ME !!!!

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas.....

My son is in his 3rd year of a Shop Fitting Apprenticeship (timber work like kitchens, windows, furniture etc)
He attended his 2nd last block of TAFE last week and bought me home an early Christmas present.

This gorgeous Jewellery Box comes complete with a perfectly domed lid and mirrors on every side around the base of the box.

Inside is covered with my favourite coloured fur..... tray on the top for all my little pieces of jewellery

And underneath another spot to hide my precious items.....

Can't wait to get into our new home and start decorating for Christmas.....

"It's SOLD"

or should I say "We've Bought It"......

Just thought I'd best let you all know I might be a bit quiet on the blogging front for a little while , as I am packing and getting ready to move.

I still have two swaps to get organised and will be trying to do things each night after work to stay on track.

Work pressures have slowed and most of the packing that I can do has been done now, as well as culling loads of clothes..... how many t-shirts, jumpers, jeans does one person (ME) need. I'm sure I'll cull more things when it comes time to unpacking in the new house.

Our new home has 4 Bedrooms + an office for me and my sewing (I hope).

It has a lounge/dining room as well as a family room (below)

Best of all it has a wonderful glassed room. I can see myself sitting out here getting some stitching or sewing done. Love the light-filled rooms at the back of the house. It does face west so I hope it doesn't get too hot in summer.

I do look around at your blogs but sometimes I don't have the time to comment. Look forward to life settling down and getting back to normal.....
