I'm still here

I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth......

Had a busy weekend then got the chance to spend Sunday at home, cleaning the house, washing, washing up etc.

Great feeling of accomplishment at the end.

I even managed to do some sewing.

Got some more Handbag Organisers made. I made them a bit bigger this time.

Today I got some mail from Amazon.....

This beautiful little book......

Pretty Little Patchwork” Now I’d love to whip something up. One of the patterns featured is Tutti-Fruiti, so nice when I actually know someone that is featured.

“Pretty Little Potholders” is still coming

There was also a great story on Oprah today, did anyone else see it. It was about two girls that were in a car accident and it was all about their mistaken identity. They told the wrong family the wrong daughter died...... Hard to believe and both families have written a book about it. Amazing story and this will be the next book that will arrive from Amazon, "Mistaken Identity"

Happy Sewing

Glad you had a productive day - it is amazing what you can accomplish when you spend the day at home. Your handbag organisers look great - did you make them longer or deeper that last time? The "Pretty Little Patchwork" book looks lovely - did it take long to arrive from Amazon?

I love your organizers, very helpful as well as quite pretty. I've been considering the Pretty Little Patchwork book but was waiting to see what others have to say about it. I'll go ahead and order it now since you like it.

In reference to the story about the mistaken identity, what a horror for both sets of parents.

I will have to look into these pretty books now. sigh, there is just too much stuff out there to tempt isn't there?

What a nightmare for those parents that you saw on Oprah.

I was walking through Amazon.com last night and discovered the book. Now you’ve got it, so please show all the projects you’re going to make, so we can decide to buy it!
I’ve seen the same Oprah show last week! I was stunned and impressed, by the story and the way both the families handled this horrific situation.
